Hi! My name is Sarah Mullen. I am the high school resource teacher at Loogootee. I look forward to working with the high school students to pursue their goals for graduation and help them along the way!
I am very enthusiastic about the 2021-2022 school year! August 2021 is the start of my 18th year of teaching. I have taught all grade levels, K-12 over the course of my career.
I have my teaching license in Elementary Education K-6, Special Education- Mild Intervention K-12, and Language Arts 5-12.
I have been employed with the Daviess-Martin Special Education Cooperative for 17 years.
My husband of 10 years, John Mullen, and I have 6 children. Taylin, the oldest is a senior at The University of Southern Indiana majoring in Nursing, Kallin is a freshman at USI, also pursuing a degree in nursing. Colleen and Jaylen are juniors, Karcyn is a 6th grader and Brynleigh is a 4th grader. The oldest 4 are all actively involved in volleyball, tennis, track, baseball, basketball, chorus, religious youth groups, and employment. We stay very busy with athletics! When I am not cheering on my children in their sporting events or spending time with the family, I enjoy amateur photography, walk/running, cooking, baking, and spending time outdoors!
