I am a 1992 graduate of Loogootee Jr/Sr High School. Upon graduation, I attended Marian University in Indianapolis where I was a four-year member of the women's basketball team and a three-year member of the women's tennis team. I graduated from Marian in 1996 with a bachelor of science in biology. After graduating, I continued my education at Marian earning my HS and MS school teaching certification and a chemistry minor. In August of 1998, I began my teaching career at Westfield High School in Westfield, IN. While at Westfield, I taught Biology and Chemistry and was the girls varsity tennis coach and freshman girls basketball coach. In 2000-01, I became the Biology teacher at Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, IN. During that school year I was also the varsity volleyball coach at Loogootee High School. In August of 2001, I began at Loogootee High School. In 2006, I graduated from Oakland City University with a Master's in Administration and have just recently reached 18+ graduate hours in the area of biology. I currently teach Biology, dual credit Biology II, dual credit Anatomy & Physiology, and PLTW Principles of Biomedical Science. I have also held numerous coaching positions which include varsity volleyball, varsity girls basketball, junior varsity girls basketball, 5th grade girls basketball, 7th grade volleyball and 8th grade volleyball. My husband, Bob, and I have three children, Makenzie (18), Kylie (17), and Cooper (12). Makenzie attends Indiana University, Kylie will attend Bellarmine University in the fall of 2022, and Cooper is in sixth grade.
