Hello! My name is Andrea Chandler Sutton, most know me as Andi. I am a proud graduate of Loogootee High School as a member of the Class of 1994. I am married to Mark W. Sutton, a Loogootee grad of 1990. We were married on July 11, 1998. Together we have two daughters, Chelsie is currently in a sophomore at the University of Southern Indiana pursuing a degree in Radiology, and Mallorie is currently in the 11th grade at Loogootee as well. We live here in Loogootee on West Boggs Lake. We have one dog, Ellie, a labradoodle. Our daughters are both very active in sports so that takes up most of my time. However, in my extra time I love shopping and spending time with family. I love the sun and beaches. I love Mountain Dew. I love teaching math.
I graduated from USI in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. I completed my student teaching at Tecumseh junior senior high school. I graduated from ONU in 2002 with a Master of Education degree. I have taken classes through Oakland City University, Valparaiso University, and Indiana Wesleyan University to obtain credit for allowing me to teach the dual credit classes offered at Loogootee.
I taught 7th grade math for 15 years at North Daviess. In 2015, I was finally hired at Loogootee where I am currently teaching calculus, precalculus, geometry, ECA remediation, and algebra 1. I LOVE my job. I do bleed black and gold. My students are the best and I wouldn't change anything about my life and career. I am so blessed.
